The Foundation 14/15 Series is soft and forgiving, it works both for beginners starting out and jibbers wanted to press and land easily out of their tricks.

This year Rough made a great effort to get the most innovative and interesting riders to join the Rough team. Many of them chose to use our Foundation 14/15 series, making it the true team board. The Foundation 14/15 is soft and permissive flex, with great pop, the stability of the midwide shape, which make them the perfect jib board, even more so with the new tip to tail wood core.

The Foundation 14/15 series got a Hammer Head Construction. The slightly squared Hammer Head Construction, has a double practical functionality: to increase tips strength on impacts, and save a few centimetres on where they are not strictly needed, thus saving on overall weight.

Furthermore the Foundation 14/15 series is True Twin. So these are perfectly symmetrical boards with a centered stance. This board gives you perfect performance, no matter riding forward or switch.

The Foundation 14/15 also got a Midwide Shape. It´s a bit wider than standard boards, perfect for jibbing.

A good jib board has to be light. So the Foundation 14/15 got a True Wood core which is really light.

A Jibboard also need a strong base. The Foundation 14/15 got a Rough Base. Base material made from the best extruded polyethylene processed through heat and pressure treatment. Tough, durable and easily maintained for hard core use.

And last but not least the Foundation 14/15 got 3 D Laminate. This 3 directional laminate matrix, gives you better response, strength and torsional control.
